Veterinary diagnostics with Point of Care PCR technology.
ARVETIS is making lab-grade point-of-care (POC) molecular diagnostics accessible to every veterinary clinic. By delivering accurate test results onsite in just 40 minutes, we eliminate the delay and cost barriers of send-out labs. Built on a decade of R&D and a robust patent portfolio, our platform is scalable across geographies and species, enabling veterinary teams to deliver better care, faster. VetPad is setting a new global standard in animal diagnostics.

How it works
ARVETIS is a fast and easy-to-use molecular diagnostic system that detects pathogen nucleic acids using isothermal amplification technology.
The workflow is simple: the sample is lysed manually, then loaded into a single-use cartridge and placed into the ARVETIS analyzer. From that point on, everything is fully automated: nucleic acid extraction, amplification, and real-time detection, with built-in internal control to ensure reliable results.
Smart primer design delivers high sensitivity and specificity, while real-time fluorescence monitoring enables rapid answers. ARVETIS software automatically analyzes the data and clearly reports the result as positive or negative.
- 1 Collect sample
- 2 Insert into ARVETIS cartridge
- 3 Automated PCR analysis runs inside the device
- 4 Result appears digitally in ~40 minutes
For veterinary clinics, hospitals, and animal healthcare professionals.
Veterinary professionals face ongoing problems that make it harder to provide fast, high-quality care. These challenges come from the limits of traditional diagnostics and cause daily clinical and operational risks.
-
Delayed diagnostic turnaround
Routine reliance on centralized labs leads to 1–3 day waits; urgent cases are frequently managed without critical data, often resulting in empirical or suboptimal treatment choices.
-
Unsustainable testing costs
With PCR tests costing $50–$150 each, many clinics limit how often they use molecular diagnostics and rely on rapid tests that aren't always sensitive enough. This can affect animal health and the clinic's reputation.
-
Low reliability of in-clinic rapid tests
Existing non-molecular rapid tests offer results in minutes but often trade speed for accuracy, with nearly 30% lower sensitivity vs. PCR — causing diagnostic uncertainty in complex cases.
-
Limited staff expertise and workflow disruptions from complex lab equipment
Conventional qPCR instruments require training, calibration, and dedicated technicians. Most clinics lack resources for onboarding or maintaining such systems.
Enabling veterinary clinics worldwide to provide faster, more accurate diagnoses and treatment, fundamentally improving animal health outcomes while making advanced diagnostics accessible and affordable.
Rapidly identify infectious diseases at the point of care
Enable swift clinical decisions during time-critical consultations, where every hour of uncertainty can worsen animal outcomes or trigger unnecessary treatments.
Reduce costs related to send-out lab testing
Streamline operations by eliminating courier logistics, repeat sampling, and fees for external labs, freeing resources for patient care and business growth.
Increase diagnostic reliability compared to rapid tests
Provide clinicians with molecular-level confidence for complex cases, minimizing false negatives and ensuring evidence-driven interventions.
Perform diagnostic without hiring or specialized training
Introduce accessible, automated testing to increase throughput and free staff time, enabling clinics to serve more patients with the same team.
Reviews from our consultants
PCR techniques remain the gold standard for pathogen detection, and its integration into on-site veterinary practice can significantly enhance diagnostic accuracy and speed. The project addresses a clear gap in veterinary diagnostics, where reliance on external labs causes delays and increased costs. The company's market entry and growth projections are consistent with industry trends.
Our team
Diagnostics infections in animals is of great importance for ensuring their health and behavior. Correct diagnostics helps to detect disease at earlier stages, which allows for more effective and timely initiation of correct treatment.
